Continuing his career in the management consulting realm, Lutfi Zakhour is back at Strategy&.

A member of the strategy firm’s Financial Services practice, Zakhour has 20 years of consulting experience focusing on transformations for central banks and public sector financial institutions.

Notably, Zakhour previously spent over a decade at Strategy& in its Booz & Company and pre-split Booz Allen Hamilton era. He joined the consulting firm in 2003 after completing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from McGill University in Canada (he later on also earned an MBA at INSEAD).

Over the past nine years, Zakhour served Booz Allen Hamilton (which re-launched in the Middle East in 2012 but last year was acquired by Oliver Wyman) in senior leadership roles, and most recently he was a managing director at Accenture, where he spearheaded the regional financial services consulting practice and led its financial services digital capability.

Zakhour specialises in digital transformation payments, and operating model design and re-engineering.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Lutfi back to our Financial Services practice! Having started his career with us, Lutfi has been an integral part of our firm's growth story in the Middle East for over a decade and we’re excited to have him back on the team. He brings a proven track record of driving a number of entities and initiatives across the region from concept to operational reality,” said George Sarraf, managing director of Strategy& in the Middle East.
