Kearney is pleased to announce it has successfully renewed its WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation, maintaining its status as an Employer of Choice since 2021. The WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation is a prestigious, voluntary citation that encourages, recognises and promotes employers that are actively committed to achieving gender equality in Australian workplaces.

“The renewal of the WGEA citation reflects Kearney’s dedication to fostering a gender-equal workplace. While we have made significant progress, we acknowledge there is more that can be done. As Tom Kearney said more than 80 years ago, ‘The true strength of this firm, as in any organization, lies in the fact that we are all different.’ We believe that diversity of talent, perspective and background leads to better business outcomes,” said Adam Dixon, Managing Partner, ANZ, Kearney.

Kearney is one of only 115 employers to receive an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation, following a rigorous assessment process. The citation criteria include leadership, learning and development, addressing gender remuneration gaps, promoting flexible working and other initiatives to support family responsibilities, employee consultation, preventing sex-based harassment and discrimination, as well as setting targets to improve gender equality outcomes.
