Joining from rival project development consultancy AtkinsRéalis, Nassib Al-Sibassi brings over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and project management to the firm.

With degrees from City University London and Beirut Arab University, Al-Sibassi has spent his entire career in between the Middle East and the United Kingdom, holding leadership roles in consulting, engineering, project development, and transport.

Commenting on his move to Compass Project Consulting (which is backed by Saudi-listed Dar Al Arkan), Al-Sibassi said: “I am honoured to join Compass at such an exciting time. The company’s dedication to innovation, quality, and community impact resonates deeply with me. I look forward to working with the talented team at Compass and contributing to the success of our KSA operations.”

In his new role, Al-Sibassi will guide the company’s strategic roadmap in Saudi Arabia, oversee its client and project portfolio, and spearhead the growth ambition – at a time of major opportunities for project development consultancies in light of KSA’s massive construction boom.

“Nassib’s appointment is a significant milestone for our KSA operations. His expertise and leadership will help us navigate the intricacies of the Saudi market and deliver on our commitment to quality. We are excited about the future and the positive impact Nassib will bring to our team and clients,” said Luke Somerville, Co-Founder of Compass Project Consulting.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nassib to our family,” said Nawfal Al Khudhairy, President of Compass Project Consulting. “His extensive experience and strategic approach will be invaluable as we continue to lead some of the region’s most transformative projects. Nassib’s leadership will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities and drive our mission to achieve greater project results.”
