AlixPartners, a New York-headquartered management consultancy, has hired Maher Masri as a partner and managing director based in San Francisco.

Masri brings 26 years of experience working with small and large companies in private equity, technology, consumer, media, financial services, and industrials. He has extensive expertise in growth, innovation, building and scaling businesses, commercializing products, and solving complex strategic and operational issues.

In his new role at AlixPartners, Masri will spearhead development of software and AI-enabled services to drive impact for the firm’s clients.

He joins from NAX Group, an AI-powered enterprise software and services company, where he spent a year as president and COO. Before that, Masri spent three years as a senior managing director and head of the North American growth strategy practice at Accenture.

Prior to that, he spent three years at BCG Digital Ventures, where he was a partner and leader of the North America region. Earlier in his career, Masri spent a decade at McKinsey, where he was latterly a partner in the San Francisco office.

He has an MBA from the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
