CrossCountry Consulting, a McLean, VA-based management consultancy, has hired Mike Pugliese as a partner in its business transformation practice.

In his new role, Pugliese will lead the expansion of the firm’s banking and capital markets solutions. He will also support the strategy, operations, and growth of CrossCountry’s Chicago office – which launched earlier this year. 
Pugliese brings over 30 years of management consulting and financial services industry experience, with a focus on large-scale transformations for the offices of the CFO, CRO, and CCO. He has expertise in financial and management reporting, planning and forecasting, risk-adjusted profitability reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Pugliese joins CrossCountry from Capco, where he spent the last 13 years as partner and led the US financial services consulting practice. He was also a part of the consulting firm’s global leadership team.

Before that, Pugliese spent 14 years at BearingPoint, where he was a, SVP and leader of the finance practice. He began his career at Citibank, where he latterly was a VP in the financial planning and analysis division.

Pugliese has a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Iowa.
