Accenture, a global management and IT consulting firm, has acquired Strongbow Consulting, a Ridgewood, NJ-based IT strategy consulting firm.
Founded in 2014, Strongbow helps Fortune 1000 enterprises and private-equity-backed firms plan and execute IT transformation strategies while minimizing risk and maximizing savings. The firm has deep expertise in infrastructure modernization across the areas of hybrid cloud, networking, and end user compute environments.
Strongbow’s approximately 60 employees will join Accenture’s technology strategy & advisory practice, where they will support clients with modernizing IT infrastructure while capturing savings from legacy systems.

The Strongbow team will form the core of Accenture’s tech value practice in North America, which was created last year via the acquisition of Advocate, an Atlanta-based provider of technology business management solutions.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Accenture earlier this summer acquired Anser Advisory, a Santa Ana, CA-headquartered consulting firm that provides advisory, compliance, and management services for construction projects.
