Kroll, a global risk and financial advisory firm, has appointed Craig Wymant as chief people officer, effective April 2023, and David Dunn as chief information security officer, effective March 2023.
Based in London, Wymant has more than 25 years of human resources leadership experience. He most recently served as leader of people integration and transition work at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) following its acquisition of Refinitiv. Previously, he was deputy chief people officer at Refinitiv, where he led a successful transformation of the human capital function and a transition to a new global operating model.
Before that, Wymant was global head of HR at Thomson Reuters’ financial & risk business (which was spun out into Refinitiv in 2018). Earlier in his career he was European head of HR at HSBC and director of HR at American Express.
Wymant has a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

Based in Seattle, Dunn has over 25 years of experience in private and public sector security, with expertise across incident response, threat intelligence and research, electronic crimes, and law enforcement.
As CISO, Dunn will ensure the firm’s security program addresses an evolving threat landscape and meets compliance requirements and client expectations.
He has been at Kroll since 2016 as deputy CISO, managing the global security operations center, incident response, security engineering, threat intelligence, security architecture, and vulnerability management groups. Dunn succeeds Wayne Peterson, who recently retired.
Dunn previously spent 13 years in the US Secret Service’s electronic crimes task force, where his work included serving as lead investigator on an international stolen credit cards scam involving millions of dollars. Dunn also spent 19 years in the Seattle Police Department, where he was a detective.
He has a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Washington State University.
