KPMG has boosted its leadership team in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of a new partner and the promotion of seven company members to senior director level.
In its Advisory division, KPMG has promoted Amin Abu Sbeit, Ahmad Sammour, Jamal Abdallah, Basil Ghanem, and Raad Alamad. Notably, the five fresh senior directors work for four different services lines. In the Audit division, Saleh Mostafa has been promoted into the partnership, while Mowafak Omirah and Farid Memon have made the step up to senior director.

Amin Abu Sbeit is an expert in transformation and project management practice. He has over 16 years of consulting experience across the region, focusing on project management, performance improvement, technology enablement, health informatics, strategy development and execution, and PMO establishment and operations.
Ahmad Sammour has been with KPMG since 2015 and is one of the leaders of the performance improvement practice, leading shared services and outsourcing advisory solutions. He has over 15 years of consulting experience, serving government and energy clients in Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Sammour also focuses on operating model transformation and implementation, shared services design and implementation, and organizational and operational excellence.
Jamal Abdallah is one of the leaders in the finance and accounting practice with three decades of experience, having spent 20 years at KPMG. He is a qualified professional with ACCA and CIA certifications, and holds a master and PhD degree in accounting and finance. Abdallah has strong experience in the domain of public financial management and transformation agenda, serving public and private sector clients.
Basil Ghanem is one of the leaders in the performance improvement practice and has more than 16 years of extensive experience in management consulting, focusing on target operating model design for new or existing entities and units, translating strategies to execution, and driving performance improvement and operational excellence. He has been with the Big Four firm since 2008.
Raad Alamad is one of the leaders in KPMG’s digital and innovation practice and has 17 years of experience in technology and management consulting. He has worked across different sectors to serve his clients’ demands and complex technology strategies and transformation programs. Alamad joined KPMG in 2018 and has been leading the customer, digital and transformation capability for the past three years.
Saleh Mostafa joined KPMG’s audit practice in 2010 after completing an MBA from Missouri State University. Mostafa is experienced in providing audit services to a wide range of clients, whereby he led many auditing and assurance assignments in both Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. For the last few years, he has been deeply involved in delivering the audit assignment to the Public Investment Fund.
Mowafak Omirah has more than 25 years of experience with KPMG across the Middle East. He presently leads the second line of defence, NOVA, and Audit Quality League initiatives for KPMG. Omirah is also the second line of defence leader for the firm’s Middle East, South Asia & Caspian (MESAC) region and an audit-responsible individual on an audit portfolio of power and utilities, transportation, and retail.
Farid Memon has been a part of KPMG for over 17 years, having spent more than a decade in Saudi Arabia. He has been an integral part of some of the largest banking audit clients at the firm, and is a member of the Department of Professional Practice team specialising in financial instruments and business combinations.
