FTI Consulting has welcomed two senior hires in Saudi Arabia, with Majdi Al-Madani joins as a senior managing director and Raed Masri coming onboard as a managing director.

Both seasoned company members will operate out of FTI Consulting’s Riyadh office, and hold leadership roles in their respective practices. Al-Madani is a member of the Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice, while Masri is part of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice.

Commenting on his appointment, Al-Madani said, “FTI Consulting has a long-established presence in the Middle East, and I am excited to contribute to the firm’s ongoing success as it pursues a new phase of growth in Saudi Arabia.”

Al-Madani joins FTI Consulting from HKA, where he spent the past two years building its Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages practice in the Kingdom. Al-Madani has more than 20 years of experience advising on forensic reviews and fraud investigations in a range of sectors. He assists corporates and banks on fraud-related matters, antibribery and corruption policy and procedures, and regulatory and compliance matters.

The forensic expert previously worked for over a decade at four major banks in Saudi Arabia. During that period, he undertook several investigations and had specific responsibility for liaising with the police and governmental authorities. Al-Madani also held leadership roles at Big Four consulting firms Deloitte and EY in Saudi Arabia.

Raed Masri meanwhile brings more than 14 years of experience in transactions advisory to FTI Consulting. His experience spans topics including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, valuations, financial feasibility reviews, business planning and IPO-related work.

He crosses from PwC, where he latterly was a Director. “Raed’s arrival is another important milestone in the development of our corporate finance offerings,” said Vikas Papriwal, Head of the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice in the Middle East. “He strengthens our transaction services and brings a deep understanding of the key sectors in which our clients operate, including construction, healthcare, financial services, retail, energy and logistics.”
