CyberKnight has signed a strategic partnership with KPMG, its first ever tie-up with a management consulting firm.

Dubai-headquartered CyberKnight is a cybersecurity company with an on-the-ground presence in all key Middle East markets. The firm’s range of solutions help clients with protecting cyber frontiers and digital assets, as well as addressing regulatory compliance in the cyber domain.

CyberKnight also has a small advisory business, which advises organisations on how to build a robust security architecture, how to professionalise cyber defence maturity, and optimise incident response.

Partnering with KPMG, CyberKnight now significantly boosts the depth and breadth of its consultancy offerings, as explained by Avinash Advani, Founder and CEO at CyberKnight. “As a trusted advisor, we have been able to help customers cut through the clutter surrounding the 60+ cybersecurity domains that are technically associated with zero trust security, as well as reduce the noise around the many vendors in space.”

“Yet, we were missing the consulting element that should happen before any solutions are mapped; until now. We are therefore thrilled about our strategic partnership with KPMG – this adds this key missing link to our portfolio and enables us to provide an end-to-end offering to the market.”

In its search for a consulting partner, Advani said CyberKnight was drawn to KPMG for its market-leading position in the cyber consulting landscape and collaborative approach to working with partners.

Commenting on the alliance, Dimitrios Petropoulos, a partner at KPMG, said: “We are excited to partner with CyberKnight, this extends our zero trust security services portfolio.”

“KPMG will play a crucial role in establishing a strong foundation for zero trust, encompassing comprehensive zero trust strategy, fit-for-purpose security architecture and pragmatic roadmaps that, together with successful implementation of security technologies, will deliver the desired business outcomes.”

Last month, CyberKnight also struck a partnership with NightDragon, a US-based investment firm focused on growth and late-stage investments within the cybersecurity landscape. CyberKnight also works cyber solutions vendors, analyst firms, and managed services providers, with KPMG now its first consulting partner.

Recent research from KPMG among CEOs worldwide found that cybersecurity is the number one threat to company growth over the next three years – a significant increase from fifth place since 2020, and ahead of regulatory, tax and supply chain risks.
