Capital Consulting International (CCi), a consultancy specialised in construction disputes and insurance claims, has launched a new office in Adelaide, the firm’s fifth hub in the country.
“The expansion into the South Australia market marks an important chapter of our growth ambition in the Asia Pacific region,” said Simon Lowe, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Capital Consulting International.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in London, Capital Consulting International has been active in Australia for over a decade. The firm significantly beefed up its local operation late 2021 when it acquired Aston Consult, adding a team of 30 members to its Australia and New Zealand ranks.
The fresh Adelaide office will provide consultancy services in the area of delay, quantum, technical, as well as project management services related to major capital-intensive projects. Capital Consulting International works both with construction players (builders, engineering groups, etc) and insurance companies.
“Our experience in South Australia working with large asset owners puts us in a favourable position to develop our client offering in the state,” said Lowe.
Leading the Adelaide team is Simon Russell, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years of international experience on a portfolio of major projects in the power generation, mining, process, and infrastructure projects. He brings expertise from his career across Europe, the United States, and Australia.
Russell is also Regional Director of Capital Consulting International’s Western Australian operations, leading the team of commercial managers, quantity surveyors, and claims consultant experts.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this expansion. I look forward to leading the CCi team in South Australia and meeting both current and new clients over the coming months,” Russell said.
The new office is CCi’s third locale to be established in the last six months, hot on the heels of strong growth in region, following Kuala Lumpur and Abu Dhabi. The Asia Pacific division now has eight offices.
