Professional services firm KPMG has made over two dozen end-of-year promotions to its Australian partnership, effective from the beginning of this year. In addition to the half a dozen promotions previously reported, other new partners include the following thirteen professionals.
Jackie Sharp has been with KPMG in Sydney in a variety of roles since 2007, initially in financial services but now with a focus on supporting clients in the energy & utilities sector.
Georgie Aley leads KPMG’s national Operational Transformation team out of Sydney, having first joined the firm in 2018 on the back of a career focused on the CPG and agribusiness sector.
Yu Zhai joined KPMG in Sydney at the beginning of last year after a decade with Deloitte, and currently works in the area of data solutions to support client growth, change and efficiency.
Yair Jacob Iny is a data and cloud specialist in Sydney who joined KPMG from Accenture in the middle of last year. He also previously served for two and a half years as a director at PwC.
Leon Tissink has been with KPMG’s Sydney risk advisory team for the past decade, having previously been a manager at Grant Thornton and BDO, along with KPMG in South Africa.
Ryan Hastie becomes a partner in KPMG’s Perth office, having first joined the firm over a decade and a half ago in 2007 after completing a BCom in finance and accounting with Curtin.
Rob Tuckerman has been with KPMG for more than twelve years, first joining in Canberra in 2010 after a period as a senior contracting and procurement officer in defence administration.
Brad Daffy re-joined KPMG’s Melbourne office as a tech-focused management consultant mid-last year, returning after more than a decade with the firm in Toronto and New York.
Jason Collins has been with KPMG since 2007 after completing a commerce and engineering double degree with the Melbourne University. He is a member of the firm’s CFO advisory team.
Lhamo Tenzin joined KPMG in 2006 before spending time in the UK and then finding her way back to Melbourne, where she supports tech change programs for public sector clients.
Stephen James is a near-decade long member of KPMG’s Infrastructure & Projects team in Melbourne, advising on the development, structuring and financing of infrastructure projects.
Tess Fitzgerald joined KPMG mid-last year after serving for four years as a leader and policy advisor at energy oversight and industry bodies the AEMO and Australian Energy Council.
Veronica Scott joined from MinterEllison in 2019 and leads KPMG Law’s Melbourne privacy & data protection practice with a focus on digital, tech, cyber, media, and regulatory issues.
The new partners are based across KPMG’s offices in Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Melbourne, with the latter office taking up the lion’s share.
