Bain & Company has added two new partners to its partnership in France, with Joël Benzimra and Nicolas Harlé both joining from the same boutique player.

Joël Benzimra joined the global strategy consulting firm as a senior partner part of the Consumer Goods, Luxury and Retail practices. He has been advising senior executives and board members for more than three decades on topics including strategy, growth, organisation performance improvement.

Benzimra spent his entire career in the consulting industry. He started his journey at Boston Consulting Group, where he grew the ranks to become partner & managing director, and then spent eleven years at Kearney (where he was a partner and part of the team that led the global management buy-out from EDS).

Over the past eight years, Benzimra served as the Global Lead Partner of KPMG Advisory’s Leader Consumer & Retail division, led his own venture that invests in commercial and residential properties in prime locations, and most recently served as managing director at Nova Consulting, a Paris-based management consultancy focused on tourism, brands, culture and sport.

Nicolas Harlé joined Bain & Company as a member of the Financial Services wing. He previously was general director of Nova Consulting for the four years, and before that, Harlé served Boston Consulting Group for over two decades.

During his time at Boston Consulting Group (one of Bain’s arch-rivals), Harlé grew the ranks to partner (appointed in 2006) and senior partner (promoted in 2015). He served as a leader in the Financial Institution and Technology Advantage practices, and led the firm’s Digital Banking offering across Western Europe and South America.

Harlé also was a key member within the firm’s fintech and blockchain teams.
