PwC Canada has announced its new leadership team led by CEO Nicolas Marcoux, who has been re-elected for a second four-year term, effective July 1, 2022.

“Each member of PwC Canada's new leadership team possesses a diverse range of experiences and perspectives, all of which are critical to the success of our firm's ambition. Together, I'm confident in our collective abilities to bring our global strategy, The New Equation to life in Canada," said Marcoux, who was first elected CEO in 2018.

Joining Marcoux in the Canadian leadership team are:

Chris Dulny, chief digital, data and innovation officer. In his expanded role, Dulny will continue to drive digital experiences for clients and PwC employees through a culture of innovation. He has served as chief innovation officer since 2018 and as national technology sector leader since 2011. Dulny has been with PwC for 23 years, joining the firm’s audit and assurance practice in 1999.

Nadia King, chief financial officer. As CFO, King will also be responsible for corporate development, procurement, and real estate. King has been at PwC since 2001, focusing on serving clients in real estate, retail, and consumer sectors. She most recently served as leader of the firm’s private company services practice in the GTA. Prior to PwC, she was a staff accountant at BDO Canada.

Michael Paterson, chief risk and resilience officer. Paterson will oversee and manage business and operational risk across the firm, including compliance and relationships with all regulatory bodies. He has been at PwC for the last 25 years, most recently serving as national assurance leader.

Alaina Tennison, national managing partner, people and partnership. In the role, Tennison will provide strategic leadership across the firm’s five services lines of assurance, consulting, deals, tax, and internal firms services. She will also oversee overall people experience, driving human capital and DEI strategies. Tennison has been at PwC for 26 years, most recently spending four years as CFO. Before that, she led the firm’s Toronto audit practice.

Matthew Wetmore, national managing partner, clients and markets. Wetmore will continue to lead the firm’s industries, market segments, major cities, and regional offices. He spent the last four years as national managing partner for industries and regions. During his 25 years at PwC Canada, Wetmore has led the private equity and pension funds (PE/PF) practice; the energy, utilities, mining, and industrial products (EUMI) practice; and the Strategy& practice.
