Global corporate and professional services firm Equiom has expanded its presence in the Middle East with the launch of a new office in Saudi Arabia, its fourth in the region.
Founded over 40 years ago, Equiom provides clients in the private sector with a range of professional services, private wealth and fund management services. The company’s circa 400 employees operate from some 20 offices worldwide, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the latest to join the fold.
Commenting on the launch, CEO Mark Porter said, “The opening of Equiom in Saudi Arabia is a significant milestone. It allows us to provide our premium corporate services to the growing Saudi market and we are very much looking forward to expanding our presence in the region.”
Based in Riyadh, the new office will focus on Equiom’s professional services portfolio, which is geared at helping businesses with successful entry into the Saudi market.
Sharif Moussa, General Manager for Saudi Arabia, explained, “For companies looking to establish a presence in Saudi Arabia, Equiom can guide them through the process, assisting with the most appropriate entry method, offering market intelligence support and advice on the best route to entry, conducting feasibility studies and due diligence, and helping with company formation.
“We support our clients on their journey to get the most out of their business, long before they are established.”
Equiom also offers a suite of services to already setup businesses, such as accounting, company law compliance, risk management, and taxation and payroll support services.
While Equiom has over the years built a select client base in Saudi Arabia, “opening this office enables us to play an ever more strategic role alongside our (new) clients in the Kingdom and support them with all of their corporate needs in order to achieve their business aspirations,” said Porter.
Moussa added, “Having a presence here in Riyadh will help us further diversify our portfolio of services to our clients in the Middle East while at the same time utilising Equiom’s international network to attract business from all over the world.”
Equiom’s other offices in the Middle East are in Dubai (two offices), Abu Dhabi and Qatar. The firm first entered the region in 2016 through the acquisition of Links Group.
