AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Bernardo Silva has joined as a Managing Director in its Consumer Products Practice. He is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
An expert in guiding the growth and transformation of a variety of consumer-facing companies, Bernardo brings to his position 27 years of experience and deep expertise in strategy development and execution, mergers & acquisitions, and operations improvement. He joins AlixPartners from Monitor Deloitte, the strategy-consulting arm of Deloitte, where he spent close to eight years as a senior managing director in that firm’s consumer products practice. Before that, he held leadership positions at other consultancies, including Roland Berger and Kearney. Earlier in his career he spent six years in various sales and brand-marketing roles at The Coca-Cola Company.
Bernardo holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In addition to his native Portuguese, he is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
