The consulting firm Bain & Company has reached an agreement with IE University to train its consultants in the area of sustainability, an initiative with which the firm wants to go one step further to create "the most prepared strategic consulting team to support its clients on ESG challenges".

The firm's managing partner for Spain and Portugal, Ignacio Otero, has indicated that with this collaboration, 100% of its consultants will have advanced certification in ESG, including topics that are critical for our clients such as environmental sustainability, social responsibility corporate or good governance and business ethics.

Likewise, the partner who leads the ESG practice for Bain & Company in Spain and Portugal, André Carvalho, recalled that the firm has been leading large-scale projects for our clients in the area of sustainability for a long time, in addition to collaborating with entities such as the World Economic Forum on specific issues, such as the development of the circular economy.

"For IE University, this is an opportunity to continue working on sustainability as a lever for added value, for strategic differentiation that goes beyond regulation", highlighted the executive president of IE Executive Education at IE University, Teresa Martín-Retortillo .
