Global strategy consulting firm Boston Consulting Group has promoted Casablanca-based Anas Laabi to managing director and partner.
Anas Laabi has been with the consulting firm since early 2019, when he joined Boston Consulting Group in Morocco from rival Roland Berger, where he spent three years as a principal in Casablanca. Earlier in his career, he also served Kearney for about seven years in its Paris office, and held roles in industry.
A member of the Industrial Goods, Technology Advantage, and Principal Investors & Private Equity practices, Laabi brings over 16 years of experience to BCG’s managing director and partner rank in Morocco.
Laabi specialises in large scale digital transformation, end-to-end operations excellence, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, and new market entry strategies.
Within the Industrial Goods practice, he leads BCG’s activities in materials and process industries across North and West Africa. He is also co-head of the BCG Transaction services center in Africa.
Laabi graduated from ESSEC Business School, a 100+ year old leading business school in France.
Boston Consulting Group first entered Morocco with a permanent presence in 2010, and has since grown its team in Casablanca to around 50 consultants and staff. The team is led by Casablanca office manager Lisa Ivers, who is flanked by a leadership team (partners and directors) consisting of Patrick Dupoux, Hamid Maher, Othman Omary, Amane Dannouni, Adham Abouzied, Younès Zrikem, Seddik El Fihri and Anas Laabi.
Last year, Boston Consulting Group launched its technology advisory subsidiary BCG Platinion in Morocco.
