KPMG US has promoted Dave Anderson to leader of its Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska offices.

Anderson succeeds Drew Blossom, who served as Nebraska office managing partner since 2004. A 35-year veteran of the Big Four firm, Blossom will transition to a senior audit leadership role.

In his new role, Anderson will lead the strategic direction and growth of KPMG’s Nebraska practice and the career development of nearly 150 partners and professionals.

He joined the firm in 2005 and was named a partner in 2018. Anderson has served as an audit quality support partner since 2018 and as local partner-in-charge of recruiting since 2020.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Saint Louis University and is a certified public accountant in Nebraska and New York.

“Dave brings more than 17 years of strong leadership and experience providing audit services for public and private clients in the consumer goods, energy, transportation and business services industries,” said Lisa Daniels, who was recently appointed vice chair, growth and strategy, KPMG US. “With his deep commitment to serving our clients and developing our people, I am confident he will be highly successful in his new role.”

Anderson added, “I am grateful that the passionate leadership of Drew Blossom has built a market-leading practice at KPMG Nebraska, and I’m honored by the opportunity to expand upon this work. I look forward to working with our tremendous team of partners and professionals to help our clients adapt and thrive in today’s ever-changing environment, whether driven by economic forces, changing customer patterns, disruptive technologies or the rapidly evolving regulatory environment.”

KPMG US has more than 35,000 people across 100+ offices in all 50 states. The company is the fourth-largest accounting and consulting firm in the US, with approximately $11.88 billion in annual revenue.
