European procurement and supply chain consultancy Inverto is doubling down on its German ambitions, simultaneously opening two new offices.

With roots in Germany, Inverto has always had a strong presence in its home market. Founded and still headquartered in Cologne, close to a third of the firm’s 400 employees are based across its Cologne and Munich offices.

With an estimated 30-40 new consultants expected to be added to its German team in 2023 (130 across all offices), Inverto has now added new locations in Hamburg and Frankfurt to accommodate the growth ambition.

“With these two new offices, we can continue our path of growth in Germany,” said Jan-Christoph Kischkewitz, who leads Inverto’s hubs in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “Being close to our clients makes us a strong partner for procurement transformation and performance improvement and helps us build resilient supply chains.”

Inverto currently has 11 offices in major European centres, and 1 in Shanghai. In the coming year, more new offices are planned for launch, as the firm seeks to capitalise on strong demand for procurement and supply chain expertise amid major disruption in the global logistics scene.

Alongside process optimisation and cost reduction through procurement excellence, Inverto also helps its clients with re-designing networks and building resilient supply chains.

The new office in Hamburg is led by Gökhan Yüzgülec, who relocates from the firm’s Munich office. A specialist in supply chain management, he focuses on projects in mechanical and plant engineering, in particular in the automotive and healthcare sectors.

The Frankfurt location meanwhile is led by Philipp Mall, who has been with the firm for a dozen years, and a managing director since 2020. An expert in mechanical engineering, risk management, procurement transformation and digitalisation, he provides procurement support to well-known companies in the mechanical engineering, plant construction and process industries.

“In addition to their professional expertise, Philipp and Gök also have the necessary entrepreneurial spirit and will anchor this excellently in our new locations. We look forward to further expanding our growth in Germany with them,” concluded Kischkewitz.

Inverto is an independent subsidiary of Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s premier strategy and management consulting firms. The two joined forces in 2016.
