Strategy& has welcomed a new partner to its team in Germany, with Miriam Kröger joining the firm’s Hamburg office.

The 43-year-old Kröger brings more than 20 years of experience in transport, logistics and supply chain to the strategy consulting firm, gained both in industry as well as in consulting.

Most recently, Kröger worked as a partner at digital consultancy Etribes, and before that, she worked as an internal management consultant at Otto, an e-commerce brand for fashion und lifestyle, and as an internal consultant at Kuehne+Nagel.

Her industry experience spans over a decade at Hermes Fulfilment and Kuehne+Nagel, holding several leadership positions during this time.

Now at Strategy&, Kröger will advise transport and logistics companies, as trade and e-commerce players, on topics including supply chain strategy, transformation and digitisation strategies.

“The secure supply of raw materials and energy and the realignment of value chains are more strategic than ever in view of today’s global uncertainties. With supply chain resilience now top of mind for businesses, the transport and logistics sector is becoming more critical to the system. Miriam adds expertise to our practice, we’re delighted to welcome her,” said Bernd Jung, a partner at Strategy& in Germany.

Miriam Kröger completed a dual degree in business administration at the Hamburg School of Business Administration. She then studied economics with a focus on logistics, industry and regional and transport science at the Universities of Lüneburg and Hamburg.

In Germany, which is Strategy&’s largest market in Europe, the firm operates out of six offices (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart).

Earlier this year Strategy& added Dieter Kern to its partnership in Munich, and the duo Marcus Hoffmann and Boris Kainz to its Automotive practice in Germany.
