The Saudi member firm of KPMG has promoted six of its leaders to senior director level across its advisory, tax and internal functions.
Abdelhamid Alazem has more than 17 years of consulting experience, with expertise in topics such project management, PMO setup and operations, new entity setup, strategic initiatives, implementation support and business process re-engineering.
During his time at KPMG, Alazem successfully led several complex engagements with key government clients. He also leads an internal innovation project, aimed at the development of a new solution in the programme and project management space.
Raed Skaf currently is capability and solution leader for KPMG’s Project Management Office practice. He has worked with KPMG for over seven years, starting as a senior manager and working as a director for the last five years.
Skaf has led several engagements ranging from strategic national programs (such as work for the Saudi Parliament and council of ministers), to PMO establishment programs at corporates. He is a richly certified project management expert, and notably one of the Middle East’s leading OPM3 Assessors and Consultants.
Shadi Samhan has been with KPMG since 2017 and is a member of KPMG’s Transformational Project Management practice.
Samhan’s track record spans 18 years of experience in program management, operational excellence and strategy execution. He focuses on transformations in the public sector, and has managed and delivered strategic projects with high-profile clients around Vision 2030 for central and local public sector organisations.
Shadi Mashal, also a member of the Transformational Project Management practice, has been with KPMG for 11 years, starting as an assistant manager in IT advisory and then transitioning to the project management side of work.
Mashal has over 17 years of experience in Saudi Arabia and internationally, and focuses mainly on clients in the culture sector. In his Senior Director role, he has also been tasked with leading the development of a new, soon-to-be launched offering.
Salam Eido has been with KPMG since 2018, responsible for the firm’s Tax practice in Lebanon. In 2020 he relocated to the Jeddah office, and now in his new role, Eido leads the Tax and Zakat team in the Riyadh office.
Eidos’ expertise includes over twelve years as head of the income tax department at the Lebanese Ministry of Finance. He also spent three years teaching taxation at the Lebanese University, parallel to his work with the ministry.
Abdulrahman Alyahya is a technology expert with 17 years of experience in information technology. Prior to KPMG, he spent 14 years in the manufacturing industry, starting with Sabic and then moving to Sahara Petrochemicals.
Since joining KPMG, he played a key role in the professionalisation of the firm’s IT infrastructure, operations and solutions, established and drove a new solutions for the audit practice, and helped the company achieve its inaugural ISO certification 27001. Now as chief technology officer, Alyahya joins the Saudi management committee.
