Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed of Chris Goodgame as a Managing Director in its Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG).

The arrival of Goodgame marks the latest step in the group’s strategic growth plans in Europe and across the world, following the recent launch of A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory practices in Spain and the Middle East.

Goodgame has more than 15 years’ experience advising private equity investors on M&A, with a focus on the financial services sector. He has worked on over 200 transactions across Europe throughout his career. In the last eighteen months, these have included assessing banking institutions in the UK, France and Greece, insurance underwriters in Italy and Ireland, and fintech and broking businesses.

Prior to joining A&M, Goodgame was a Partner in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Transaction Services team. At Deloitte, he led the team providing transaction support to private equity investors in financial services businesses.

The arrival of Goodgame follows the recent recruitment of Managing Directors Cristina Almeida and Ignacio Basagoiti to launch the TAG practice in Spain. These new additions bolster TAG’s Financial Services capabilities and further enhance TAG’s pan-European offering.
