Mazars has promoted three new members to its Australian partnership: Angela Winton, Owen Dingle and Scott Hutton.

All three new partners are based in the firm’s Brisbane office – one of Mazars’ four offices in Australia (alongside one in Melbourne and two in Sydney) – and lift the total number of partners at the accounting and consulting firm to forty-six.

Brisbane managing partner John Kotzur welcomed the appointments, which he said symbolise the commitment of the trio to both their clients and the firm. “Angela, Owen and Scott have all shown continuous dedication to their clients, colleagues and the future of the firm and I would like to congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions.”

Angela Winton has been with the professional services firm for nine years, fist working as a business consultant and then holding a client-facing role focused on debt advisory, capital markets, valuations and fundraising advice. She is a member of the Financial Advisory practice.

Owen Dingle joins the partnership after nearly three years at the firm, latterly in the role of director. He has some around 18 years of experience in banking and finance, specialising in debt funding, structuring and commercial sales, having previously served Hanrick Curran as a financial advisory consultant Suncorp Group across several relationship management and credit review roles.

“Angela and Owen have done an outstanding job in developing our Financial Advisory division, which has helped many of our clients navigate and secure the right funding for their business in some of the most challenging circumstances,” said Kotzur.

Scott Hutton, meanwhile, has been with Mazars since 2016. He previously also served Hanrick Curran for five years, and before that, he was a partner at partner a PKF Hacketts and spent fifteen years at local accounting and advisory firm Bentleys.

Hutton brings some 20 years of experience advising clients on establishing, acquiring, operating and growing businesses and personal wealth to the Mazars partnership. He specialises in helping clients optimise their business and investment structures.

Earlier this year, Mazars welcomed Greg Halse to its partnership in Melbourne.
