There was a real desire to bolster the Financial Services practice of this top-tier strategy firm with digital talent which was paramount to why they engaged Consulting Point who have deep penetration in the APAC Management Consulting space, especially with those candidates that were not actively looking to leave their current consulting employer.
ASEAN for our client, was a strategic region that needed to replicate the success of the Digital Transformation practice in other geographies. With a short window of 3 weeks we mapped out the market and identified an up-and-coming consultant with strong digital banking skills who is a dynamic ‘Digital Strategist’ focused on Digital Banking, Fintech partnerships & investments. Our candidate was passive and not actively looking but we knew they brought to the table a unique blend of strategy development and execution capabilities, enhanced with a digital lens, coupled with a strong corporate finance background to connect the dots between banking insights, tech solutions and market opportunity. This candidate was not on the radar of other search firms and hence though a personal relationship with the candidate, our client received a great digital ‘intrapreneur’ talent.
