Position: Senior Manager, Energy Transition

Challenge:

A longstanding client of Consulting Point were looking to rapidly grow their Energy Transition offering and needed a senior individual to support this, the decision was made to hire a Senior Manager with a good network in this space. The brief included a necessity to have an extensive consulting background and strong relationships with Oil & Gas businesses, as well as an ability to develop junior staff.

Solution:

Our network in the Energy space is very mature and we were able to contact a range of people who we have worked with over the past 5+ years, many of whom we first started working with as Consultants but have now progressed to this level. We presented a shortlist of our best suited candidates and were able to progress a number through the process quickly.

Results:

One of our candidates particularly impressed the clients with her knowledge of the sector and eagerness to help the business continue to grow in this space. After presenting her business case the leadership team were quick to decide on presenting her with an offer, having built a strong relationship with the candidate we were able to align things quickly on both sides. Due to a short notice period, our client was able to secure top talent quickly and the candidate was able to join a world-renowned firm where she should experience rapid progression.
