With Private Equity being a key part of the offering of one of our clients, and the most prolific part of their firm, their growth plans in this area were essential to the wider business. In so busy a market, consultancies are having to turn away work due to a lack of resources and as a result, finding strong candidates who can hit the ground running is important. Consulting Point were mandated based on previous work to help facilitate this growth, utilising our strong network across the DACH region.
We were quickly able to highlight a few well-suited candidates within our existing contacts, one of which would eventually become the initial hire of this mandate. The candidate possesses an impressive background across a couple of relevant firms while balancing the required skillset across Private Equity and Commercial Due Diligence. They quickly progressed through the process, each stage getting great feedback but more importantly learning more about the culture and approach of the firm. Coming from a ‘big 4’ firm, the culture of any environment was key to the candidate to make sure it was more of a meritocracy and would give them the opportunity to both develop and progress.
The client put together an offer quickly and after some fine-tuning, there was an agreement and signed contract, both candidate and client were pleased with the smooth running of the process and now can look forward to building a strong career path.
