Considering recent events, the world is becoming more digital and IT Strategy & Transformation has become a conversation in every boardroom; as a result a boutique consultancy firm such as our a client is in a position to thrive and grow. They were wanting to grow at key levels within their business and one of the most important was an experienced candidate to join at Principal Consultant level, who is able to build relationships with CIOs, CTOs & CDOs.
This created a specific search as personality and ability to build a rapport at a senior level was as important as skillset, this made Consulting Point the ideal firm for them to use due to our relationship driven approach. We were able to speak to several highly relevant candidates from top consulting firms, then being able to shortlist the top three who were the best cultural fit for the business and its ethos. All three were successful in their first interview and the client was able to eventually pick the best picking candidate from the two that completed finals, rather than just being left with one option that passed all stages.
This led to a smooth negotiation process where between our conversations with both candidate and client, we were able to ensure the written offer was accepted immediately. We received positive feedback from both sides regarding their experience during the process, as well as the unsuccessful candidate leaving happy with the company and with the door open to be considered when a new opportunity to hire arises.
