Our client is a leading Digital Management Consulting firm with a particular focus on the Government & Public Sectors. We were instructed to expand their Consultant team with candidates who had experience in this space and who had operated within the GDS framework.
We sourced numerous candidates from our network that were suitable for the position, ensuring to focus on competitor firms of our client as a preference from them. A particular candidate stood out who was currently working on these projects for another Management Consulting firm. He was however, at the same time in the final stages with another competitor firm of our client.
The selected candidate had come from a strong academic background and was also held a range of certifications in Scrum Master, Agile BA Practitioner, APM PFQ and Google Analytics. He had gained experience working on a range of Digital projects as an Agile Business Analyst where he was gathering requirements, running client workshops, writing user stories, leading product demos and serving as the intermediary between the business and software development team.
Utilising our strong relationship with the business we were able to create an open dialogue between the candidate and our client. They were able to implement a unique three stage interview process that saw our candidate accelerate through. With a job offer from the other firm at this stage, our client matched it and entered negotiations.
Consulting Point worked closely with the candidate to assess both opportunities, in the end he wanted to work more for a digitally focused organisation and accepted our clients offer after a few days of evaluation.
Both client and candidate thanked us for our expertise in this area and we wish the candidate luck with their new career in this successful engagement.
