Grant Thornton has appointed Abdullah AlMarshad as Managing Partner of its office in Al-Khobar.
In his new role, Abdullah AlMarshad has been tasked with leading Grant Thornton’s strategy, operations and team in Al-Khobar and the region. Al-Khobar is one of the firm’s three offices in the Kingdom, alongside Riyadh and Jeddah.
AlMarshad brings a decade of experience in audit, tax, and financial consulting to the firm. He most recently was the managing partner of Al-Marshad, an eponymous boutique firm he founded three years ago. Before that, he spent four years with KPMG in its audit department (growing the ranks to senior supervisor), and served Saudi player Al-Hamli &Partners.
Throughout his career, AlMarshad gained extensive experience in the field of audit, Zakat, tax advisory and financial consultancy. His track record includes working for clients in the public and private sector.
