Professional services firm Accenture has recently announced the appointment of Carmina Lees as the local lead for its insurance practice in the UK and Ireland.
Lees brings 25 years of industry experience to her new role. She has gained cross-industry expertise and knowledge of emerging technologies, enabling her to help clients achieve their strategic objectives and implement digital transformation agendas, particularly focusing on ESG and sustainability priorities.
Lees is also a recognized advocate for women in technology, actively promoting diversity initiatives. She has been named one of the top 50 most influential women in IT by Computer Weekly for three consecutive years.
Additionally, she serves as the executive sponsor for Accenture UKI’s Leadership Client Account programme.
Lees has been with Accenture for over six years, joining in 2017 as Managing Director of Financial Services.
Prior to Accenture, she worked at IBM for almost 19 years, joining in 1998 as a Client Executive. She held various key leadership roles at IBM, most recently as Vice President of the Security Business Unit, where she led the UKI Security team in delivering high-value security solutions and consulting services.
