Trinity Hunt Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm, this week announced the formation of two platforms for life science and healthcare consulting: Supreme Group and Coker Group.
Supreme Group is a platform focusing on business and commercialization services for life science and healthcare companies. It is an outgrowth of Supreme Optimization, a San Juan, Puerto Rico-based firm Trinity Hunt acquired in March 2023. Supreme in June bolted on Clarity Quest, a Groton, CT-based health IT marketing agency, and today has more than 100 professionals.
Trinity Hunt on Wednesday announced it hired Tom Donnelly to lead the newly formed Supreme as CEO. He brings over 20 years of management experience in integrated healthcare marketing, advertising, and consulting. Donnelly was previously chief growth officer for Medical Knowledge Group and chief revenue officer for Level Ex.
“Tom’s extensive experience leading and growing healthcare marketing and communications businesses makes him the ideal leader for Supreme Group,”
said Mike Steindorf, partner at Trinity Hunt.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tom to the team and look forward to working with him to build a world-class platform serving a broad range of companies in life science and healthcare.”
Trinity Hunt on Tuesday announced it acquired a majority stake in Coker Group, an Atlanta-based healthcare advisory firm. Coker works with hospitals, physician groups, and ancillary healthcare entities on performance transformation, transaction advisory, and compliance.
The consultancy was founded in 1987 and has more than 75 consultants across the country, according to its website.
Coker is the foundational investment in Trinity Hunt’s healthcare advisory services platform. The private equity firm will support the platform with acquisitions, expansion of capabilities, and investment in talent and technology.
“We are thrilled to partner with Coker as the cornerstone of our healthcare advisory platform given the company’s people-first culture and longstanding track record of exceptional customer service,”
said John Oakes, partner at Trinity Hunt Partners.
“We look forward to building on Coker’s strong foundation as we partner with other high-quality firms to expand the platform’s national footprint and strategic expertise.”
Trinity Hunt has over $2 billion in assets and focuses on companies in business, healthcare, and consumer services.
The firm earlier this year announced the launch of Springline Advisory, a business advisory platform created after the acquisition of MarksNelson’s consulting practice.
