Visser leads large and complex transformation processes for PA’s clients in the (semi-)public sector. As a partner, she is also partly responsible for the further growth of the consultancy practice in the Netherlands. She can draw on the extensive knowledge and experience that she has built up in a 12-year political career and gained previously as an advisor at the FIOD, among other roles.
“We are very happy that, in appointing Barbara we have found a senior sparring partner for our clients,”
says Ruud Brink, Netherlands country lead at PA.
“Barbara is analytically razor-sharp, has an enormous depth of knowledge and a focus on facilitating collaboration within ecosystems. This is certainly important in the public sector, as the most critical issues – such as those surrounding the energy transition, employment or infrastructure – transcend organisations and value chains.”
“PA Consulting has a solid track record in strategy, technology and innovation in a variety of sectors,”
says Barbara Visser.
“This unique mix, which combines thinking and doing at the intersection of strategy, technology and innovation, offers customers true end-to-end solutions. At PA I am returning to my great passion: working as an advisor, helping to solve major (social) issues within the (semi-)public sector. Together with my new colleagues, I hope to be able to make a difference for our customers in the (semi-)public sector in the Netherlands.”
Public authorities and state-owned companies in PA’s portfolio include Prorail, UWV, Schiphol, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Ministry of Finance.
