Hannah Farrar, CF CEO commented, “I am thrilled that Catherine is joining CF as a managing partner. Her extensive healthcare knowledge and experience as a management consultant and chartered accountant will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen and expand CF’s services across the health sector. The beginning of her leadership at CF also marks an important juncture in our continued growth as a company, these are exciting times ahead.”

Established in 2013, the consultancy now branded as CF has become known as one of the UK’s leading healthcare sector consultancies. The company supports clients with some of the most pressing matters in the industry; from strategy and transformation work for the NHS and associated health systems, to key data analytics and research to support patient outcomes. Earlier in the year, this work was commended by the annual HealthInvestor Awards – where CF triumphed in the Strategic Consultants of the Year category, during a ceremony in London.

The firm’s heritage in the health sector underscores the importance of Skilton’s arrival – something which a release from CF noted “marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.” In particular, with the UK’s health system still facing unprecedented challenges, CF is coming in for keen demand with the cost improvement and transformation needs of healthcare providers.

To help meet those demands, Skilton brings two decades of expertise with her, to deliver this for our clients in the NHS and across the health sector. She arrives from Big Four firm Deloitte, where she was lead partner for the NHS – and over her two-decade career, she has delivered change programmes across finance, operations, workforce, care models, and the organisational changes that enable this.

Speaking on her new role, Skilton added, “I am delighted to be joining CF and leading its fantastic health systems team into a new phase of service expansion and growth. The team’s ethos and dedication to making a positive impact on health and healthcare is so well aligned with my own, and I’m excited to work alongside a talented group of healthcare experts to support our clients in addressing the complex challenges facing the NHS at this time.”
