Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm and a business of Marsh McLennan [NYSE: MMC] announced that Anders Nemeth has been appointed global head of its Banking & Financial Services practice effective immediately.  Based in New York City, Mr. Nemeth will continue to be a member of Oliver Wyman’s Global Leadership Team and its Global Operating Committee.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Nemeth served as Head of Financial Services for the Americas, which grew significantly under his leadership cementing the firm’s standing with the world’s leading Financial Services institutions.  Prior to that, he was a key architect and leader of Oliver Wyman Digital and led the group’s evolution, guiding its digital innovation and transformation advisory business along with its data science, technical design, and delivery capabilities.  From 2014-2017, he also served as the head of the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Nemeth advises senior executives and directors in the financial services ecosystem on a broad range of topics, including strategy, leadership, as well as risk and capital management. Since joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Nemeth has worked with a wide range of financial institutions in the US and globally guiding them through critical transformational periods.
