Roland Berger has shored up its Aviation practice in the Middle East with new principal Usman Tahir.
Usman Tahir brings more than 15 years of experience in management consulting and project management across the Middle East and South Asia to the strategy firm. He specialises in strategy design, business planning, process efficiency, and operating model optimization.
His appointment comes hot on the heels of the arrival of Sheila Nazareth, a partner who has been tasked with launching and expanding Roland Berger’s aviation team in the Middle East.

Usman most recently was an associate director in the Strategy group of KPMG, where he worked on multiple strategic and operational engagements. Earlier, he also served fellow Big Four firm PwC.
In between, Usman spent more than eight years at Emirates, where he spearheaded cost transformation projects, collaborating across several divisions including airline MRO, ground handling services, network operations, and airport operations. Usman worked in line management roles as well as in an internal consulting capacity.
