Partners in Performance continues to expand its global partnership with three recent promotions in Australia and Canada.
Global management consulting firm Partners in Performance has promoted two of its professionals to partner in Australia – David Rotor and Tiaan Terblans of Melbourne and Brisbane – while Andre van Regenmortel has been elevated to partner in Canada.
The senior leadership additions follow the recent recruitment of former BCG partner Vinoy Kumar as a director in Singapore, with Kumar shortly due to transfer to the firm’s Sydney office.
A two decade consulting veteran dating back to his roots in Canada, David Rotor joined Partners in Performance in mid-2020 after three and a half years with Oliver Wyman acquisition Azure Consulting. Prior to Azure, Rotor spent seven years between Bain & Company and Deloitte with a focus on procurement, while earlier international roles included vice president stints with PwC and Geller and a start at management consultancy Mitchell Madison.
Rotor has advised numerous organisations on procurement and supply chain transformation over the course of his career, with Partners in Performance among his past clientele. “I love working with clients to drive better performance by unleashing potential across their operations and from their suppliers, but especially with clients that share and support values of diversity and respect,” Rotor stated upon his partnership appointment.
Now based in Brisbane, Tiaan Terblans has been with Partners in Performance for the past six and a half years, having joined the firm in Melbourne as a manager after a career in the oil & gas industry, including more than 13 years working with Sasol in South Africa, the United States, Uzbekistan and Korea.
In announcing the appointment, the consultancy stated that Terblans has proved himself as a “true leader who consistently goes above and beyond.”
Currently based out of Vancouver, André van Regenmortel boasts three decades worth of professional experience across Europe, North America and Asia, having kicked off his consulting career with Corporate Value Associates in 1995 before later spending three years at McKinsey & Company.
Since 2012, van Regenmortel has run his own strategy and marketing consultancy Asturias, while also spending the past four years at Partners in Performance.
Partners in Performance asked its new partners for their opinion on what makes a great management consultant: “Create leverage by listening more, talking less and leaving preconceived ideas behind. It is also equally important to invest enough time in stakeholder alignment and ownership,” Terblans responded, with van Regenmortel adding: “Make sure you love helping people and businesses grow. Consulting is not a job, but a vocation.”
