A member of FTI Consulting’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice, Hone has extensive experience in receivership and voluntary administration, specifically trade on and sale of distressed businesses, investigations into corporate failures and litigation for the recovery of debts, antecedent and insolvent transactions.
Toby Browne has over a decade of experience assisting clients across a range of financial advisory and restructuring engagements, with a focus on clients in the agricultural sector.
A member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Turnaround & Restructuring practices, Browne helps clients with transaction due diligence, strategic advisory, trade-on formal appointments, cash flow analysis and financial modelling. He has delivered numerous engagements across a number of sectors including dairy, beef, forestry, permanent and broad-acre cropping.
Melanie Blain specialises in fraud risk and investigation matters. She has nearly 20 years of experience in auditing, forensic accounting and fraud investigation, specialising in financial statement audits, contract compliance, claims verification and dispute resolution, forensic accounting, due diligence, risk management, internal audit, fraud and corruption investigation.
Blain has worked in Australia, New Zealand and the United States, and prior to joining FTI Consulting she served both Big Four (Deloitte and EY) and boutique consulting firms.
Adrian McNulty has been a specialist in dispute resolution for over a decade. This has commonly included the preparation and defence of contractual claims and assisting in the preparation of numerous expert reports in the areas of quantum and delay with respect to mining and resources, oil and gas, rail and infrastructure and construction sectors in the Asia Pacific region.
At FTI Consulting, specialises in litigation and dispute resolution services to capital projects, serving both corporate and government clients, including their (legal) advisors.
Stacey Voss specialises in forensic accounting matters on behalf of a wide variety of Australian and international clients including listed companies, financial institutions, government bodies, education providers and regulators.
Her track record spans the investigation of complex fraud and misconduct matters, asset misappropriation, conflict of interests and procurement fraud, employee misconduct including allegations of bullying and harassment and breach of company policy, and payroll and expense fraud. She also undertakes fraud and corruption risk assessments for clients.
Stuart Downes is a member of FTI Consulting’s Construction Solutions practice. A chartered quantity surveyor, he specialises in the preparation of expert reports, submissions for adjudication, advising and working in conjunction with client law firms in the preparation of claims for delay and disruption costs, and disputes in preparation for arbitration or litigation.
Since joining FTI Consulting eleven years ago, Downes has been involved in specialist appointments to the mining, oil and gas, power, rail, civil construction and building and infrastructure sectors across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. He regularly prepares expert reports on high profile/complex projects, and has been appointed as independent quantum expert himself on numerous occasions.
