PwC has today announced an alliance with ContractPodAI, enabling the firm to offer a cutting edge AI-powered legal contract management platform. The alliance is part of PwC UK’s technology-driven strategic plan to reframe the way traditional Tax, Legal and People services are delivered.
The announcement follows a number of strategic acquisitions and alliances, including the most recent with OpenAI backed firm, Harvey. This continued investment in market-leading platforms, data driven AI backed services and technology capabilities is part of PwC’s strategy to transform and reinvent the way its services are delivered, providing increased value and insights. The strategic alliance builds on PwC’s technology-led approach to services and brings human-led tech-enabled solutions to its clients.
The alliance also accelerates PwC’s managed legal services technology. It will enable PwC’s legal business solutions team to standardise the end-to-end contract process, automate the processes before and after a contract is signed, measure the success of contracts, collaborate on documents in real time and simplify the process of personalising contracts. The alliance also includes ‘Leah’ ContactPodAi’s new AI assistant.
Laura Hinton, UK Head of Tax and Legal at PwC, says:
“This alliance is a key step in our plan to reframe our Tax, Legal and People services. It will enhance our managed legal services and give our clients access to a market leading AI powered technology platform. Legal operations are receiving increased focus due to the significant impact that they have on revenue, supplier cost and compliance, including ESG. Solutions such as outsourcing, process efficiencies and technology are increasingly being adopted to support legal leaders and functions with wider business objectives, increasing regulatory compliance requirements and public scrutiny. Our alliance with ContractPodAi will empower both our business and our clients ability to transform, become more efficient, and continue to support our clients’ overall objectives.”
Sarvarth Misra, CEO at ContractPodAi, says:
“We are thrilled that PwC UK chose our software to power its managed legal services offering. PwC UK and ContractPodAi are aligned on our vision for combining best-in-class software and legal expertise to drive more efficient and impactful operational excellence for enterprises. We believe this resonates with what legal leaders in enterprises want, and now expect, from their internal and external teams.”
