Hui Zhang has joined RSM Canada’s Toronto headquarters as a partner in the US tax practice.

Zhang, who has more than 10 years of US tax experience, will work with the tax team to expand US tax services in the Ontario market.

RSM Canada’s international tax practice assists middle market companies with global compliance, transfer pricing, trade advisory services, global employer services, VAT services, and US tax services.

Zhang has extensive experience preparing and auditing tax provision under US GAAP, ASPE, and IFRS for public and private companies. She has advised Canadian multinationals on international tax matters including expansion into the US, navigating federal and state taxes, repatriating profits from the US to Canada, and structuring cross-border M&A for tax efficiency.

Zhang joins RSM from KPMG Canada, where she spent seven years and was latterly a senior manager in the US corporate tax practice. She was also previously a tax manager at Deloitte Canada, where she spent over three years.

Zhang has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Waterloo and is a certified public accountant and chartered professional accountant.
