AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Trevor Donelan has joined its Risk Advisory team as a Partner & Managing Director. Trevor joins AlixPartners after serving the past eight years as a Senior Enforcement Accountant in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. He will be based in Boston.

During his tenure as an SEC Senior Enforcement Accountant, Trevor led a wide variety of federal securities fraud investigations, working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in multiple jurisdictions. He is a highly experienced technical and forensic accountant specializing in accounting, complex securities fraud and compliance issues, leading investigations ranging from accounting fraud to some of the most complex cross-border market manipulation cases. In 2020, Trevor was awarded the national Paul R. Carey Award, and in 2021 the Chair’s Award for Investor Protection. Trevor received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts.
