AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced today that Scott Pinsonnault has joined as a Partner & Managing Director. Scott brings deep experience to all stakeholders in the energy industry as an advisor, in the c-suite, as an investment professional, and a technical practitioner. He is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
With more than 25 years of experience in large and complex turnarounds, Scott is an expert in delivering transformation across private and public companies. He brings broad technical expertise in energy and the upstream oil & gas (O&G) and oilfield services sectors, as well as extensive leadership experience in complex financial and legal restructuring, including c-suite interim management roles such as CEO, CFO, and CRO and has served on boards of directors. In addition, Scott has worked as an energy investment professional at GE Structured Finance Energy where he oversaw more than 40 reserve-based LP investments and other credit opportunities in O&G. He started his career at Texaco. Scott holds an MBA degree from Tulane University, an MS degree in Geology and Geophysics from Texas A&M University, and a BS degree in Geology from St. Lawrence University.
