AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, today announced that Uwe Kissmann has joined as a Partner & Managing Director and will lead the firm’s Cybersecurity Team in EMEA. He is based in the Zurich office. Uwe brings extensive experience helping Fortune 1000 companies transform their cybersecurity and information security operations.
Prior to joining AlixPartners, Uwe led the Cyber Security Strategy & Risk Services Business at Accenture across Europe. He has many years of leadership experience and a proven record of driving growth in clients’ cybersecurity and information security businesses. Uwe has served as a cyber executive in several board level cyber and digitalization projects and of advanced cyber implementation- & transformation programs. He also has expertise in M&A in advanced cyber defense, managed security services, and digital identity. Uwe has also been acting as CISO with a large global IT player for many years and acts as business angel and strategic advisor for startups in the cyber and digitalization industry. He is a recognized expert in the area of business centric, advanced cyber defence with multiple appearances as speaker in media and in the news.
In addition, Uwe has been acting as the President of the National Cyber Security Commission for Digital Switzerland, the leading organization of the Swiss ICT industry. He is also a Visiting Lecturer for “Cyber Security for Executives” at HSG, University of St. Gallen. Uwe received his MBA in Strategic Management from Strathclyde Business School in Glasgow, holds a Bsc in Electrical Engineering from the University of applied sciences Zurich, a Bsc in Industrial engineering from St. Gallen Business School and has undergone executive training at Harvard Business School.
