Global strategy and management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has launched a new office in Bahrain, its sixth in the Middle East.
At the launch event celebrating the milestone, Oliver Wyman leaders said that the new office in Manama is emblematic of the firm’s continued push to better serve its clients by establishing a physical presence close to their headquarter operations.
Oliver Wyman has been working with organisations in Bahrain for more than two decades across multiple industries, including the public sector, financial services, fiscal, oil & gas, health, technology, transportation, and tourism. The firm is renowned for providing strategic counsel and support with wide-ranging transformations.
“Oliver Wyman has served public and private sector clients in Bahrain for more than 20 years, and this new office opening enables us to work even closer with our valued clients, and scale-up our service delivery,” said Syed Jafri, Partner and Head of Oliver Wyman’s Bahrain office in tandem with fellow experienced company partners, Ibrahim Ghoul and Mark Kremers.

Oliver Wyman will meanwhile also seek to contribute to the development of local talent. The consulting firm already has recruited a team of Bahrani nationals to support its expansion plans, and has announced a series of initiatives that are geared at fostering the growth and development of Bahraini talent, including a program for graduates and one for future leaders.
