Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has promoted Restructuring & Turnaround practice Managing Director Erin McKeighan as co-head of its Case Management Services group, serving alongside Managing Director, Julie Hertzberg. Ms. McKeighan’s promotion reflects the firm’s recognition of her ability to help private and public companies find pathways for maximizing value and driving change.

A&M’s Case Management Services group specializes in Chapter 11 strategy and planning, case administration, and information management.

With nearly 20 years of restructuring experience, Ms. McKeighan has worked across multiple industries including technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), wholesale and retail, manufacturing, non-profit and energy sub-sectors such as coal, power generation, oil, and gas. She partners with client stakeholders, including management, boards, sponsors, and creditors, to facilitate restructurings and reorganizations that place clients in a stronger financial position. Ms. McKeighan has advised on over 40 cases and has enabled the restructuring of over $60 billion in debt obligations.

Ms. McKeighan earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is a 2021 American Bankruptcy Institute “40 Under 40” honoree. Ms. McKeighan is also a leadership member of Catholic Renewal, serves as a wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is a board member of Golden Apple.
