Falconi, a Brazil-based management consulting firm, has expanded its physical presence into the United States with a new office in Chicago.

The firm, which has four offices in Brazil, has moved into 171 N. Aberdeen St. in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. The new location is led by Bernardo Miranda, senior partner and US managing director, who has been with Falconi since 2008.

The consulting firm has worked with US-based companies for decades, but decided to open the Chicago office to better serve its clients in manufacturing, food and beverage, and paper production.

Miranda told the Chicago Business Journal that Falconi will start with a 1,000-square-foot space, but plans to triple the office size in the next three years. The first year will be focused on getting a team in place.

Falconi currently has 10 people working in its Chicago office, with a wider North American team of 10 project managers and 30 business consultants. The Sao Paulo-based consultancy has a team of approximately 700 consultants globally.

The firm provides services in strategy, business models, organizational structure, process alignment and goal achievement, and operations alignment and monitoring. Falconi has completed over 6,000 engagements in 40+ countries in 50+ industries.
