The American Chamber of Commerce in Australia has named digital transformation consultancy UST its exclusive industry partner.

With over 100 AmChams located worldwide, the American Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest country-oriented networks for business leaders. In Australia, AmCham is active across the nation, with a focus on Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.

Having started as a US company two decades ago, UST entered the Australian market about seven years ago. Since its launch, UST has invested in building a domestic team, which operates out of offices in Melbourne and Sydney.

“As we continue our accelerated growth strategy in Australia, AmCham’s communities and relationships with businesses and government will be an invaluable asset to UST,” said Matthew McCormack, Managing Director of UST in Australia and New Zealand.

An exclusive industry partner, UST will be able to tap into AmCham’s network to build partnerships with companies, and showcase its offerings at its business events.

Among the most well-known US companies member of AmCham in Australia are 3M, American Express, Boeing, Citi, Google, J.P. Morgan, Pfizer, Raytheon, and Verizon.

“Being able to share our success stories with other members of AmCham, the partnership will allow us to apply our expertise to other Australian organisations that will benefit from our advice and proprietary frameworks, products and platforms,” McCormack said.

Commenting on the partnership, Tully Smith, General Manager of Victoria at AmCham, said, “At the American Chamber of Commerce, we are focused on facilitating meaningful business relationships so that two-way US-Australia trade flourishes. We are proud to welcome UST as a member and we look forward to working closely together with them.”

The United States is Australia’s largest two-way investment partner, with two-way investment stock reaching US$1.8 trillion in 2020. The United States is also by far the largest investor in Australia, with investment stock worth $929.4 billion at the end of 2020.
