Corporate Value Associates, a boutique strategy consultancy with an office in Dubai, has expanded its Middle East leadership team with Eduardo van-Zeller Neto, who joins as a partner and head of its energy & utilities practice.

The Portuguese-national brings over two decades of strategy and management consulting experience in the energy sector to the firm, twelve of which in the Middle East.

“We’re delighted to welcome Eduardo to our family,” said Paul-Andre Rabate, founder and global managing partner of Corporate Value Associates – a strategy-focused player with around 300 consultants worldwide.

Eduardo van-Zeller Neto joins the firm from Accenture, where he was a Managing Director in its Accenture Strategy division and served as leader of the Middle East Energy practice. Before that, he was a partner at Roland Berger, and served Boston Consulting Group for seven years across its offices in the region and in Portugal, where he gained earlier experience at Deloitte.

Rabate: “Eduardo has worked with leading global and GCC clients in the oil & gas, utilities and energy sectors where he has led the definition and implementation of strategic transformation programs, performance improvement, digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and energy transition strategies. He will help us expand our relationships in the region.”

After being active in the region for some two decades (through fly-in teams), in 2019 Corporate Value Associates formally launched an on the ground operation in Dubai. The regional division – which ranks among the Middle East’s top strategy consulting firms – is led by consulting veteran Olivier Staub.

Earlier this year, Corporate Value Associates launched an office in Auckland, New Zealand, its third in Oceania and 17th worldwide.
