A team of Microsoft Dynamics professionals from IT consultancy DXC Technology has joined EY Canada.
Over a dozen professionals across Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver will join EY Canada.
The Big Four accounting and consulting firm says the former DXC team will deepen its existing Microsoft Dynamics practice, which helps clients modernize and optimize their finance and operations functions, enterprise resource planning, and supply chain management.
EY US also concurrently announced the Americas Microsoft Dynamics team from DXC Technology would be joining its Microsoft services group.
Microsoft Dynamics is a popular enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software platform. It holds a 26.5% market share in the ERP category, according to data from Slintel, and competes with SAP ERP (14.1%), Workday (9.63%), and SAP S/4HANA (8.5%).
“This team will work with Microsoft to continue to create new, innovative client experiences, giving them greater visibility and agility to support their decision making with robust analytics and AI-driven insights fuelled by Microsoft Dynamics,” said Charles Lamanna, corporate vice president, business applications & platform, Microsoft.
DXC Technologies is a large, global IT consultancy. It is based in Ashburn, VA and has approximately 130,000 people across 70+ countries. Atos in 2021 put forward a $10-billion offer to buy the firm which was ultimately rejected.

EY Canada’s digital and technology firm purchases this year include Freshworks Studio, a Kelowna-based app development firm, and Gensquared, a Toronto-based data and analytics consultancy.
EY has six Microsoft Advanced Specializations certifications and is a Gold competency partner across Azure, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365 clouds. Globally, the EY network of independent firms has supported more than 4,000 clients and completed more than 16,000 digital transformation projects.
