Deloitte has announced the acquisition of Etain, a data and digital transformation specialists based in Ireland.
It revealed 70 employees from Etain join Deloitte, bringing a “wide range” of expertise including in data engineering, cloud development and technical solution architecture.
The acquisition creates Northern Ireland’s largest AI and data practice and doubles the headcount of Deloitte’s AI and data solutions practice in Belfast.
Etain’s employees will join Deloitte’s Belfast Technology Studio, based in The Gasworks.
According to Deloitte, the acquisition of Etain grows its consulting practice to a team of more than 800 people in Belfast. Overall, Deloitte’s Belfast practice employs more than 1,000 people and approximately 3,000 people across Ireland.
